Accessibility Statement

This statement describes how this website is built for accessibility and what is known not to be covered. It does not replace the terms of a purchase order, supply agreement or non-disclosure agreement between SIMORCHIP and a customer.

Scope

This statement applies to this website. It does not apply to documents, samples or correspondence exchanged under a separate project or purchase agreement.

Standard applied

This website is built to follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. It has not been examined by an independent auditor, so conformance is stated as the standard the site is built to, not as a certified result.

Measures in place

Every page declares its language and carries a single main heading, a skip link to the main content, and a landmark structure that assistive technology can navigate. All images carry alternative text. Every form field has an associated label. Data tables identify their row and column headers. Body and secondary text meet the AA contrast ratio against their background. Interactive elements keep a visible keyboard focus, and animation is reduced when the operating system requests it. The site has no video, no embedded frames and no content that plays automatically.

Known limitations

The site has not been tested end to end with every screen reader and browser combination. Long specification tables are readable in sequence but remain dense on a small screen. Typefaces are loaded from an external font service; where those files are blocked, the page falls back to system fonts and remains readable.

Reporting a problem

Where a page on this website cannot be used as intended, please describe the page and the difficulty and send it to the SIMORCHIP contact address listed in the footer of every page. A reply is issued within seven working days of receipt, and the applicable correction is confirmed case by case.
